I cannot believe I've been in Australia for a year now. Man, time does fly by. It's been an exciting but challenging year. There were some adjustments that I had to make in terms of acclimating and getting used to the little cultural differences. Overall though, I must say it's been a great year. I feel very thankful to have an awesome family here and to have met some great friends, as well as reconnect with people from my past.
I had a small little celebratory dinner at El Bulli, a Spanish tapas place in Randwick. My friend Ann had us over for drinks at hers before hand and she made my favorite drink - mojitos! Thanks Ann.
The food was great and the sangrias were yummy! Thanks for everyone who came out and celebrated with me.
