Bris-Vegas!

My friend Maggie, who went to Pepperdine and who I met on our one week Czech Republic/Budapest study abroad trip, has been living in Brisbane for over two years now.  We chatted on Facebook and had planned to visit each other and after I decided to leave my job, I gave her a call to see if she'd be up for a visitor.  She was happy to have me visit so I booked a flight and we made plans!

I landed on Friday night and we went for a nice Ethiopian dinner.  The next morning, we got up early and drove down to the Sunshine Coast and sat out by the beach. The weather was super hot and nice! We could only really stay out for about an hour and a half.

After we drove back to Brisbane and met some of Maggie and Morgan's friends at a pub. The next day we just hung out in Brisbane, took a ferry and walked around the city.

Overall it was a great and relaxing trip! Brisbane is a charming little city and I'm glad I got to visit! Thanks Maggie!!
